The bTop-2 Mathematica add-on package (free download)
PSI provides the Mathematica add-on package, BTopTools, which makes all of the functionality of the bTop-2 hardware accessible from within a Mathematica notebook.  The functions provided in the add-on package all return their results in the form of Mathematica lists, making it possible to pass data acquired with the bTop-2 hardware directly into the powerful analytic functions of Mathematica.
The BTopTools add-on package is available in both source and binary formats.  Follow the links below to download. We currently have a Macintosh binary installer and hope to have a Windows installer available in the near future. To read about our current Windows support please visit this page.

bTop-2/Mathematica examples (free view or download)
You can use the BTopTools add-on package, and a bTop-2 board to create a real world temperature controller in a Mathematica notebook.  A demonstration experiment is included as an example in the BTopTools package.  You can download the example notebook or view it in HTML format.
You can use commands from within a Mathematica notebook to acquire data on the bTop-2 analog inputs, then pass that data directly into Mathematica functions.  A basic example is included with the BTopTools package.  You can download the example notebook or view it in HTML format.
You can communicate with and control external devices from within a Mathematica notebook and the digital ports of the bTop-2.  A basic example is included with the BTopTools package.  You can download the example notebook or view it in HTML format.
