- New largest prime number! — and we have a physical poster of all (over) 7.2 million decimal digits available. The prime is 224036583-1, discovered in May of 2004. For more information see www.mersenne.org. We have a low-cost poster, shipped in a sturdy tube, or a more expensive nicely framed version that can serve as fine decorations.
- PrimeKit, our Mathematica support code for all algorithms in Prime Numbers book (below) is now available. Book has 112 algorithms, so PrimeKit has 112 programs!
- Special news: PrimeKit now has, beyond its over-one-hundred algorithm implementations in Mathematica, a C-code implementation of the (already!) celebrated AKS primality test. For more information see the article:
